Kawaii Paper Craft

  This DIY paper craft is inspired by an avocado. It looks cute, but it’s actually a working roll-up measuring tape made entirely from paper. By turning the avocado pit, the tape rolls back inside smoothly, just like a real retractable tape measure. This project was designed from scratch based on my own original idea, inspired by kawaii Japanese paper craft. As someone from Japan, I created a paper squishy template of one of my favorite traditional dishes—sushi.🍣✨ This template isn’t like the sushi you’d see at supermarkets or conveyor belt restaurants.  It represents the classic, traditional style of Japanese sushi. 🇯🇵 On the back of each squishy, the sushi names are printed in Japanese, so you can enjoy a little taste of Japanese culture while crafting.☺️ I also designed them to be used as blind bag surprises, making the unboxing part of the fun.  Perfect as a small gift!🎁 I hope you have fun making them!
