Kawaii Squishy Avocado Tape Measure, Free Printable Craft Template

This DIY paper craft is inspired by an avocado.

It looks cute, but it’s actually a working roll-up measuring tape made entirely from paper.

By turning the avocado pit, the tape rolls back inside smoothly, just like a real retractable tape measure.

This project was designed from scratch based on my own original idea, inspired by kawaii Japanese paper craft.
It’s not just something to make — it’s something to experience.

Enjoy making your own kawaii avocado measuring tape at home!

💡 Tip for smooth rolling

When rolling the tape back in, hold the top of the avocado.
If you squeeze the middle while turning the pit, it may not roll smoothly —
and the pit might pop out 😂
